At FUNomenal, we’re inspired by technologies and creative methods that have revolutionized how kids train and apply that training to the sport of their choice. We often talk about inventions like the computers, television, and the all powerful World Wide Web — by simply making communication and entertainment more efficient, these inventions led to a complete transformation of many important parts of society. They gave more people a voice. They encouraged progress. They changed the way society was organized. YET, at the same time allowing generations of children to become sedentary mesmerized by the ease of finger tip entertainment.

Even if our mission sounds big, it starts small — with the relationship between two people. Almost every sport or game involves at least two people, throwing, kicking, passing, chasing… Its sport—it’s actively participating in life! Activities are the fundamental unit of our society. Relationships are how we discover new ideas, understand our world and ultimately derive long-term happiness.

At FUNomenal, we offer the tools to help kids not only enjoy a sport but to connect with other kids and share what they are learning, and by doing this we are teaching and encouraging children’s capacity to build and maintain relationships into adolescence and adulthood. The ultimate goal is for kids to grow to be — Disciplined, Motivated, Cooperative, Healthy, Active, Positive adults — for life.

Demo of the combined three spaces is moving along nicely and a banner is up welcoming FUNomenal to the mall. Next phase is construction and should start in the next few weeks.

Demolition will start as we combine two stores on the lower level of Valley View Mall (near Sears). Estimated completion is 3-6 weeks.

Final lease has been approved and signed with CBL Properties (Valley View Mall)
